NEGS is an HVACR contractor located in the southern Green Mountains of Vermont. We specialize in the installation of ground sourced heating, cooling (GSHC) and refrigeration systems for commercial, residential, and government sectors.

GSHC is itself a renewable energy; tapping the inexhaustible latent heat of the earth. An old adage in the ground source heating and cooling industry is "the Earth is the largest solar collector on Earth."

Our furnaces have always been able to heat space for less than fuel based furnaces; because of the smaller amounts of electricity that are required to run them as opposed to conventional electric heating. As far as cooling goes; and especially in the realm of summertime cooling needs; we shred the conventionals by as much as 10-1 in energy consumption per work done.
